Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nina of Knox (“I,” “me,” or “my”), operated by Nina Dickenson, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://ninaofknox.com or contact me through the site.
Who I am
Nina of Knox is a brand and merch design practice based in Knoxville, Tennessee. This website is a portfolio and marketing site. It is not intended for children under 13.
Information I collect
I collect information you choose to provide and limited information collected automatically when you use the site.
- Contact details — name, email address, company (optional), service interest, and message when you submit the contact form.
- Booking details — if you schedule a consultation through a linked Google Calendar booking page, Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Technical data — standard server and browser information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP, when available through hosting or analytics tools.
- Cookie preferences — your cookie consent choice, stored locally in your browser so we can respect it on return visits.
How I use information
I use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested services
- Schedule and prepare for consultations
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send follow-up communication related to your request (I do not sell your information or run unsolicited marketing lists from contact form submissions)
How information is stored and shared
Contact form submissions are stored in a secured database (MongoDB Atlas) used to manage inquiries. Hosting is provided by Vercel. Email and calendar tools (such as Google) may process messages or bookings you initiate.
I do not sell personal information. I may share information with service providers who help me run the site (hosting, database, email), or when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy. You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA for California residents), you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing.
To make a request, email hello@ninaofknox.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” I may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
Data retention
I keep contact inquiries only as long as needed to respond and manage the business relationship, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
Security
I use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites or tools (for example, a booking calendar or social profiles). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when updates are posted. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
